Our client is a highly passionate and ambitious SME food business. They produce and manufacture a range of restaurant quality food products supplied into the HORECA channel together with other Food services areas.

Through private investment the business has grown through a talented and highly innovative senior management team. They are now at a point where the appointment of a first class Sales Director is a priority. This role will help drive and shape the commercial agenda for the business open new doors and take the profile of the business to another level.

 

The Role:
  • Own, develop and drive the commercial strategy of the business across Foodservice.
  • Explore and manage all new opportunities
  • Work closely with the factory and product development function in the launch of new products.
  • Project management of new strategic objectives relating to business development, sourcing, NPD, Packaging and recipe development.
  • Be a senior member of the management board.
  • Work closely with the investors to realise the commercial ambitions of the business.

 

The Person:
  • You will be a senior commercial professional with an in depth knowledge and network across the food service channels. Core areas would include Restaurants, Airlines, and Hotels.
  • You be highly product focused and enjoy working with a more premium food offering.
  • You will be numerate and highly commercially minded.
  • You will be ready to operate as part of a small senior management team and take accountability for the future direction, growth and success of the business unlocking and realising its full potential.
  • You will be ambitious and hungry for an opportunity to really make a mark in the industry.
